Thought this may interest some fire-enthusiasts, my favourite line is "Czechs love, I mean LOVE, to set off fireworks... inexplicably most of them are aimed right into the crowds"

No Holmans more happy to pay the £4.60 to cross the Bridge!

£100 there, and about a tenner a night accomadation, 50p a pint, etc. It'll be cheaper than the Ringers disco-tecque!

Any else got any ideas for NYE?

I like this from the paragraph above:

It's not a matter of walking here, it becomes one of sliding bit by bit between so many jolly people until you've finally found an open pocket of space to breathe & congratulate yourself on not catching fire.

Yep, this is the spot, New Year's Eve in Prague; watch out for the ricochets and keep your flammable clothing at home! Forget house parties - Prague is the party!

It does sound unmissable, not quite sure if I'd trust myself there or not! Had a look on easyjet and its about £100 for return flights over new year. Hmmm.....
