I forgot to post this earlier, but i was watching the Band Aid documentary last night and i thought i heard the following conversation take place between Justin Hawkins (from The Darkness)and Joss Stone:

JH: "Im from Lowestoft... home of rock!"
JS: "Im from Devon... home of cider!"

...at least i think she said cider, it sounded like it but im not sure, i even started watching it on BBC1 Wales because it was running 10 minutes behind so i could hear it again, but i still wasn't sure. Did anyone else hear this? If she is a famous cider I know one HMZ-er who will be pleased!

The decision has been made, she drinks cider, and she is officially one of HMZ's favourite zider-lovin' ladies! http://www.hannahmorezider.co.uk/ziderladies.htm

She's over 16 though.

It looks like the general consensous on the Joss Stone forum is that she said the much more boring line: "home of soul", so i don't think she can be included as a famous cider drinker, plus ive just realised she is 17 so she can't possibly of ever drank cider because she is underage and thats illegal.

Think that's your new forum home Jim!

didn't realise there were so many weird stalker type people in the world, she must get really freaked out if she reads it?!? Looks like there is some competition to bone the Stone.

Ok those people are scary. I like the post "how can I get in contact with Joss" - just keep hiding in her garden like you have been doing mate.

I think they will appreciate my unedited review though, I will treat them to it later whilst browsing for suitable images of their heroine - even if this link is slightly tenuous its better evidence than we have for some on that page (eg Geri Halliwell).

We'll have to question her cliam that Devon is the home of cider though, even if it is no less likely than it being the home of soul. I'll mention it to her next time I see her.

i THINK IT PROVES THAT THERE are lots of sad old pikers around. In the name of research i have visited a joss stone website and asked them if they can clear up the debate: http://boards.joss-stone.net/viewtopic.php?t=490

Some of you may be interested to know that the forums on this site also include a "Joss Images" forum!

I think the fact that this thread has 5 replies is proof enough that Joss Stone is a cider drinker. Jim, get some pics of her online asap!

I saw it and wasn't sure what she said. But thinking about it, what else could she have said??? Inbreds??

I don't mind a bit of pervertedness but this was much worse than that, all i will say is you should be thankful that I saved you from a certain prison sentence by deleting that "review"!

Surely it will take you more than a night to find a suitable picture? Your Joss Stone scrapbook collection extremely large, and its not always easy to open certain pages.

Anyway, i think we need confirmation she really did say "cider" before Joss and her "lovely bum" infiltrates yet another HMZ page.

Will happily bow to your opinion Jim. I'm probably just bitter that she's young and good looking.
Jungle Jim Posted - 08/12/2004 : 09:55:45

She will be on the famous cider drinkers page tonight (if I don't get too "distracted" looking for a suitable picture...)

Ivanhoe - she seems a very nice girl, our Glastonbury review section would have contained more information on this but Gents deleted it claiming it to be perverted.

I've only heard her talk once. It was a huge disappointment, since she came across as a dull posh bint. Cider's too good for her. She's just trying to claim a bit of cred.
