A cider eggs-travaganza will commence at The River bar (on waterfront) this Thursday to mark the beginning of Summer!

Rough schedule is this:

5:15 The River (Weston's Vintage, Weston's Organic)
5:55 (ferry to Nova Scotia)
6:00 Nova Scotia (dodgy Thatchers)
6:45 Avon Packet (Thatchers)
7:30 Orchard (Cheddar Valley, Thatchers)
8:15 Coronation (Jaaaaaaaaaanet's Jungle Juice!!)
no point for schedule after JJJ has been consumed, but then on to the centre at some point, possibly finishing at the Brownstone Club in Kings Street (poncey cider).

All cider-drinkers welcome. No excuses for you Southville cider-drinkers not to join us in your local for a couple at least!

yes yes YES! This weekend is gonna be fantastic, i think plans of what to do after 10pm are just pointless but these are all good options.

Bloody hell - lightening is due in the BS3 area this afternoon: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/24hr.shtml?id=1281 looks like it'll clear up by cider-time tho. Drinking some JJJ and then getting struck by lightening could be a lethal combination, we will all be cider-werewolf freaks or something.

Post Cider drinking entertainment:

Empathy at Bar Latino (progressive house) £5 Cider drinkers welcome

Wurzels at bierkeller £10. A fitting end to a scrumpy laden extravaganza?

Should be ok to meet you at the Coronation about 8.15-8.30.

Cider's coming home...

Cider-tastic

Looks like I'll be joining you at the Coronation but I'll have to stick with the beer as that's what I'll have been drinking till then.. And you know what a girl's blouse I am when it comes to JJJ - just the thought of it makes me feel horribly pissed. I'm gutted I'll be missing the ropey Thachers at the Scotia though.

Who's booking the weather?

According to the timetable here: http://www.bristolferryboat.co.uk/frames/index.html they should be.

BUT the ferry is actually at 5:50 from the centre, not 5:55 as stated above.

Route sounds good to me. Are you sure that the ferries are running this time of year ?
