Who is going to this year's event then? It runs from 14th to 16th July, tho sadly I can only make it on the Friday night of that.

The website (http://www.applefest.co.uk) doesn't say if tickets are on sell yet but I'll ask in Grove Stores tomorrow.

I heard from Mr Orchards Cider a few weeks ago that he'll be bringing some type of special cider along to rival last year's Wye Wobble so I can't wait for that.

Well I must say I enjoyed my trip to this festival. It was nice to be able to say hello to some of the HMZ crew and finally try my first taste of JJJ. I tried every cider and perry except the Wickwar Screech. It was also the first time I've had a lock-in in a tent. Mr Orchard also enjoyed himself, he used to play rugby there so it was a real home-coming for him.

And you will know us by the trail of empties....

Excellent, see you there.

The beer list isn't out yet, but a sign up in Nailsea says they'll be 50 beers and 20 ciders.

They've announced some bands - "Venus Suite" and "Ounce of the Finest" play on Friday. Sadly "Dirty Box" aren't on til Saturday.
