Football fans...
The Glasshouse football team was formed in 1982 and continued under the great leadership of Nick Matthews for 19 seasons, finally calling it a day in 2002 when the Commercial League folded, still with many of the original players - Steve Kavanagh, Stu Jarvis, Mark (Gert) Jenkins, Jer Feirs, Ants Cooper, Bob Dace to name a few.
Some 4 years later the Glasshouse Football team has come back to life, and having pulled a few out of retirement and signed some new, they have started their life in the Bristol & Wessex Division 2.
The Glasshouse team of old had many successful years especially towards the end, and the new era wish to keep up the trend of Silverware. Unfortunately however, Nailsea Patriots have folded, and with it went 6 points a season for the Glasshouse!

Home games are played mostly at Scotch Horn, and food and drink is always available in the Glasshouse afterwards (on both home and away fixtures). If anyone would like to keep up to date with the Glasshouse progress please see some useful links below. We currently sit 2nd in the league and remain in both Cups (league & Somerset).

October fixtures:
Sun. 15th Home (Grove) - Nailsea Glasshouse vs. Centurion Sports (Bath & District Div1) in the Somerset Sunday Challenge Cup 2nd round
Sun. 22nd Home (Grove) - Nailsea Glasshouse vs. Longwell Green Sunday in the League Cup 2nd round

The Cocker would like to offer his service as and when. As a former 1st team player i feel i have all the skills needed to perform, and being a league and cup double winner with the mighty Spiro Agnew i need say no more!
