Sven must be confident they are invincible! If Jamie Carragher and Ledley King can get in the squad then I feel gutted to miss out.

England's Euro 2004 squad:

Goalkeepers: David James (Man City), Paul Robinson (Tottenham), Ian Walker (Leicester)
Defenders: Gary Neville (Man Utd), Phil Neville (Man Utd), Ashley Cole (Arsenal), Wayne Bridge (Chelsea), Sol Campbell (Arsenal), John Terry (Chelsea), Ledley King (Tottenham), Jamie Carragher (Liverpool).
Midfielders: David Beckham (Real Madrid), Paul Scholes (Man Utd), Nicky Butt (Man Utd), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Owen Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Kieron Dyer (Newcastle), Joe Cole (Chelsea)
Strikers: Michael Owen (Liverpool), Emile Heskey (Liverpool), Darius Vassell (Aston Villa), Wayne Rooney (Everton).
Standby: Jermain Defoe (Tottenham), Richard Wright (Everton), Matthew Upson (Birmingham), Gareth Southgate (Middlesbrough), Scott Parker (Chelsea), Alan Smith (Leeds).

Anyone see Keown's testimonial last night? I can't believe how many actual England players were playing! Out only 2 fit centre backs, Ashley Cole, Beckham, Joe Cole, and Defoe all turned out to play against a team full of french players! Luckily they all got through unscathed, but why didn't anyone go through the back of Henry?!

Likewise I to feel disgruntled and would consequently like to announce my retirement from International footbal (although I may be persuaded to do a Larson).

Shaun Wright-Phillips, Scott Parker and Jermain Defoe - why not?

It costs nothing to love someone
