Posted - 04/08/2004 : 09:13:28 I read in the Western Daily Press this morning that city are playing 4-3-3 with three strikers on the bench (sacrificing a sub keeper).
Cool

Posted - 04/08/2004 : 10:33:45 I think Goodfellow would make a good stand in keeper.

Posted - 04/08/2004 : 10:29:46 We've played 4-3-3 in every friendly bar the first. It worked well at tearing weaker sides like Clevedon & Yeovil apart, against Portsmouth it ended up more like 4-5-1 most of the time and was actually quite defensive, last night sounds like it worked ok but we got caught at the back a couple of times. Surprised no sub keeper given that we're signing Clint Davis on Friday, but then again if Fortune's in the sqaud I reckon he'd be a quality stand-in keeper.

Posted - 04/08/2004 : 10:09:21 Definitely gonna be a lively season, he has also looked at trying Gillespie, Goodfellow and Anyinsah in Midfield (not all at the same time mind), and Murray has said he'd quite like to be Right Back. Ive also heard a rumour that Junior Bent is to return in a rush-goalie role.
