"The garment only needs to be rubbed against something to create a electric charge... The young boy only had to touch a metal or earthed object for a spark to be created, which then ignites any inflammable gas."

So the moral of this story is: don't rub up against anyone in a Cardiff shirt and then touch your earthed object if there is any stray inflammable gas floating around? No more farting in bed for Jim then.

Now this obviously isn't funny as it sounds like the boy was quite badly hurt, but I think people should be aware of the flammability of Cardiff shirts: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3186605.stm

Cider's coming home...
