There are four bands on the bill and it looks a little bit like this: 1st on: The Bombing Run 2nd on: Hunting dodo 3rd on: Cellardoor Headlining: Treehouse Burning It's going to be a busy one so it might be best to get there early. Flyers for £1 off the entrance fee can be found on our new website - www.treehouseburning.com. If all goes to plan we will have copies of our new mini album - glory lasts forever - for sale. If not, keep checking the website for a sampler. All the best, Gav - treehouse burning |

Posted - 02/03/2005 : 08:50:13 Hi Dan,
We had a great time on Monday night. It was a pleasure to share the stage with you guys too!
We would be very grateful if you could film our next show. That would be fantastic. I was stood behind your brother on Monday when he was filming. If the video jumps at all it because I was in your bros way and he walked into me. Sorry about that!
I agree about Rob the sound guy. He certainly knows his stuff. We've had the privelege of working with him a couple of times before so he knows exactly how to get us now.
Hoping to make it to your gig next Wednesday at Bar Excellence. Any of you other Hannahmorezider boys fancy this??
Dan, check out this main site too - www.hannahmorezider.co.uk - you'll love it. |

Posted - 01/03/2005 : 20:58:51 Hey guys, it's Dan from Bombing Run (the bassist).
Thanks for everything, had an excellent night! Cheers Gav for letting me use your Trace-Elliot, bit meatier than my Ashdown. We were bricking it, our last gig was really good because we played to a load of strangers and it was easier to get banter going with them, but we were much tenser this time as when we came on most people in front of us were friends and family, made it quite uncomfortable for us for some reason. Couldn't take my eyes off my bleedin' bass! Anyway, promise we'll try and lurch about a bit more next time.
You lot rocked though, was a pleasure to share the same stage. You harmonised really well and just knew how to get it pumping. You guys have a fantastic sound! Kudos to the Loui sound engineer too.
I might be able to film your next gig if you want...? I'm designing our site at the moment (amongst other things), but I plan on chucking up a general media section with video as well as pics and stuff, can film you guys too if you fancy it? As long as I'm free it's no trouble at all. I'm just colour-correcting the footage my brother shot of my band last night (before the camera's battery went and died), it's a nice way to review the performance. Let me know! I'll try not to be as Boris Yeltzin'd as I was last night.
"Cheers again!" |

Posted - 01/03/2005 : 15:56:44 Another good night at the Louisiana, the main noticeable improvement from the previous gig was the sound was right from the start – presumably a benefit of having the same sound guy for a few gigs running. As a warning the Treehouse Burning supporters club are planning to all don fire outfits for the next gig, and this wasn’t even my idea! It has become traditional that the bands who share the stage with Treehouse Burning are a collection of abnormal freaks, and the huge-haired Hunting Dodo continued the trend, but unlike most of the others from previous weeks (didn’t see the other 2 last night) they were actually quite good.
Cider's coming home...

Well this certainly sounds like a more meaty line-up than the usual camp-sounding support acts, I will be expecting at least a few fire songs from The Bombing Run.
