Don't suppose anyone else was listening to Rob da Bank at about midnight on Radio1 last night?
They had this vote to select a song, and it was either Bristish Sea Power covering the Wurzels "I am a cider drinker", or the Wurzels covering "remember me" (think thats what it was called) by BSP. They played little clips of both but I fell asleep before hearing who won and the full version. Anyone how the BSP version of cider drinker sounded quality from the little bit I heard, the search to find a recording begins!

Aha good point - British Sea Power. Sadly the Wurzels arent supporting, Julian Cope was going to but he's pulled out so maybe the wurzels will be drafted in at the last minute?!

Who are you seeing, the Wurzels or BSP?

Yes the Wurzels supported them at their London gig last night, thats how the whole thing started i think, there is a 7" on sale at all gigs on the BSP tour with the Wurzels on 1 side and BSP on the other... And Im going to see them at the Beirkeller monday so i'll be getting myself a copy. Tickets for the gig are still on sale i believe, if anyone else is interested.
