If Elton John goes on the wickerman or the album? He's more likely to go on the wickerman if we catch lurking by our tents. |

Posted - 11/04/2007 : 20:24:41 To commemorate this year's building of a wickerman at our camp I will be including as many songs as possible that make reference to the human sacrifice to the flames. Including from the wickerman original soundtrack "Fire Leap" and "Appointment with the wickerman", and "wickerman" by Pulp. |

Posted - 11/04/2007 : 14:19:59 Not sure if this has ever been mentioned but could we not just listen to Def Leppard - Pyromania for Fire Album 3?

Posted - 11/04/2007 : 11:08:16 Perhaps you should start a rival pyramid songs album with just songs about pyramids? Can i suggest:
Pyramid Song - Radiohead
I can't think of any others, but there must be LOADS!

Posted - 10/04/2007 : 15:04:22 But pyramids and fire are the two symbols of Glasto!?
How can a song called Pyramania not make the grade!?

Posted - 10/04/2007 : 13:34:42 All the ones I mention in the other topic were included in v2 but there were some more too. I thought we'd had Step On but maybe we decided it wasn't a clear enough fire reference before. I'll try and put on the full tracklist of album 2 later, along with what I have so far for this one. "Pyramania" is unlikely to make the grade!
My commitment to fire songs extended to visiting Jim Morrison's grave on Sunday, where someone had indeed lit a fire (more of an incense candle but the relevance was clear!) |

Crap song and all about pyramids but the title is close enough that after a few burrow hills nobody will notice or care?

Posted - 05/04/2007 : 14:52:23 Have you got the tracklisting to Volume 2 anywhere?
Can i suggest -
I Started A Fire - Ash (new song available on their myspace to download for free!) On The Fire - Holly Golightly A Little Bit Of Arson Never Hurt Anyone - Matson Jones Step On - Happy Mondays (surely we've had this before tho???)
Couple of them are pretty obscure (but they are great songs and mention fire loads), and i reckon we've used most of the mainstream fire songs now... i can give you copies of all if you like.

Posted - 04/04/2007 : 15:46:00 Preparation of Fire Album 3 is now under way, just 31 months after the original suggestion! Please reply with good fire songs (helps if they are good songs as well as having amusing fire related titles).
The previous 2 volumes are described here - http://www.hannahmorezider.co.uk/new_forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=530 |
