There seems to be a bit of a move to abolish the small cider makers exemption from duty on the first 7000 litres. If that's allowed to happen it's going to be a helluva blow to both the small scale cidermakers who persist in what is not really a very profitable undertaking, and the customers who will have even less choice and availability of our favourite fermented fruit juice.
