I'm an evil spirit from West Croft Farm and I was just wondering if you ugly buggers were coming down again tomorrow. You did such a good job with your horrible singing last year most of us were gone, long before the night ended. The ususal bunch that turn up are strange enough but you Nailsea folk took it to an all new level. If you know what's good for you you'll stay away !

So how was it evil spirt

I had a live sound feed to me here in the US (and some drunken voice mails) from West Croft Farm, everybody sounded in fine voice (even though the lyrics were changed) I could taste the JJJ from here absoultley gutted.

So how was it compared to last year? For me, what made it last year was not knowing what to expect. I'm sure all had great time, just had another phone call and some pepole could not even speak (grunts)and they sounded stranded without a taxi/bus. Oh well maybe next year.

Even though we did know what to expect this year it still seemed completely unreal, just as strange as when we saw it last year. I did think before that surely it cant be as good as i remember 2005 being, but it was better if anything, absolute quality from start to finish.

The set-up was pretty much like last year, except they had a stage (back of a truck). Same druid, band, and Langport Mummers, FIVE belly dancers this year.

Definitely a bad idea to drink cider in the afternoon cos i was feeling a bit drunk before i got there.

Highlight was definitely Wayne borrowing the Druid's megaphone to announce to the masses that a few youngsters few "smoking skunk" in the corner of the field.

Great night.

I have got about 250 pictures to sort thru (most of people i cant remember speaking to even). Will try and put the best few on the website tonight, and shove the rest in one of those Kodak photo gallery things.

I just heard that Keith thinks he had an "Outer Body Experiance" whilst flat out under a tree. With twelve pints on board, that JJJ is wonderfull stuff.

" i think there was something in the cider that night cos one of that lot tried kissing me."

Soon as I read that thought it must have been Geordie, photos are great a few glazed eyes (and some closed ones) looks like somethings never change, Porter Strange Dancing, Putting in Geordie's teeth in turn, just one pic (on kodak) that I can't work out whats happening can't give it a referance, just, Mr Duddwee...

Cheers to Jack the Hat for providing most of the photos on there, I had more than 300 to sort thru in the end and it took ages, but most are on the kodak thing apart from some where you just couldn't make out what was going on, plus some close-ups and peoples eye-brows and stuff like that.

If any of the unidentified Wassailers who are in the pictures read this, please drop us a post! There are 2 girls (1 in a tweed hat that appears to have been stolen by Craig for his dance-off later) that are in loads of Jack's pictures, and i cant remember even seeing them
