I think the intelligence of Liverpool fans was brilliantly summed up by letter sent into Zoo Weekley a month or so back.

Two men in a bookies were discussing Ken Bates claim that Chelsea were tryin to tap-up the Leeds youngsters.
One said 'Ye I heard Ken Bates wants penalties at Chelsea'

Which some moron in a Liverpool shirt poked his head over and said 'No way, Lamps will still ave 'um'.
