If you were a Gillingham fan, player or member of club staff you'd have to feel pretty insulted right now:
"Brighton manager Dean Wilkins has signed former Gillingham striker Bas Savage, who had been a free agent, on a year's contract.
The 25-year-old left Gillingham earlier this week after rejecting a new deal at the Priestfield Stadium."
