i think its highly embarrasing to concede a goal at this stage of the competition! Some of the teams in it are rubbish!!

As for your 'stats' tony, fair enough.

When was the last time you won anything?

It wasn’t ‘pitch of the year’ your groundsman won ‘groundsman of the year’ which doesn’t necessarily mean you had the best pitch. It means your groundsman worked the hardest.

So the biggest trophy you have won in recent history is the Vodafone Cup which consisted of you and 2 pants South African teams. Congratulations. You should be very proud

I am very proud. As I said a win is a win! You class the mickey mouse Cup winners v Cup winners match in the Bristol & Wessex sunday league as a win! This cup only had 2 teams in it!

I also forgot to say Mr Wilson - If we are talking about good player ruined by their club then Liverpool are probally the worst in the league! They ruin pretty much every good player they have ever bought!

Tony, I think you're wrong.

We don't ruin players, but sometimes we find out that the players we bought simply aren't good enough for Liverpool Football Club.

Whereas in Defoe's case, i could see him leaving Tottenham to go to a bigger club and be a success.

Can I have en example of a bigger club where he will get regular first team action and the chance of winning something?

I DO class it as winning something James. Thats my point! Thats why I class Spurs Trophy's as winning. You were the one who said a comp with only 3 teams in pointless - my point was the Glasshouse cup had less........

I could see him playing at Man Utd and doing well. I admit that he might not win anything with them, because Liverpool are picking up all the big tropies this year.

Other clubs bigger than Spurs he could join, and get regular football are:

Bolton
Derby
West Ham
Reading
Sunderland
Bristol Rovers
The Glasshouse

i know he wasnt. That was just leading on from your comment saying he needed to be given a chance. After a confidence building 2 goals in midweek he was just brought back down to earth my your brilliant manager jol.

Defoe does need to be given a chance. Jol is starting to really lose the plot now. Bale has been our best player so far this season and he started Steed ahead of him (Who is rubbish by the way).

Wilson - Good result for Liverpool at the weekend! Still think ur going to win everthing lol??

Anyway at least the mighty Orient are top of the League!!

i think defoe is quality. But we are talking about a striker who has been with you now for 4 or 5 years and your talking about him being given a 'chance'. how come his past record doesnt get him a place in the team?! Hes off in jan i think... or will he stay in your quest to conquer europe in the mickey mouse UEFA cup? or more like it... beat the drop!
Like i said at the start of the season, i dont think spurs have strengthned at all over the summer!
