Tin man has said he is after a goal scorer as last season was not good enough. Also peacock could still turn the contract offer down. sounding good so far

Yeah he didn't seem that bothered about the prospect of Peacock leaving, and i can't imagine he'd be talking about bringing another striker in if peacock was gonna stay cos we'd have 6 strikers then! Theres a rumour on City forum about Peacock getting an offer from a Portugesse club managed by one of his old managers, hope its true.

So who would you want as a replacement? Stephen McPhee has been mentioned by Tins, and there are loads of rumours going round about Marcus Stewart - i'd be quite happy to see either of these come to the Gate.

Feeling much happier about next season this monday.

Forget any of my comments last week, I think its great that we've got the tinman in charge, and from his comments already I reckon he should do a good job. He'll be popular with the fans, no-one will blame him if he turns out to be crap as it is a gamble by the board really, but the fact that they're talking about buying a goalscorer is a good sign. I think it sounds like the deal Peacock has been offered is pretty low and they don't really expect him to take it, so cheerio to him, and hopefully hello stephen mcphee.
