I know its a bit early but where is everyone planning on watching Thursday's game?
p.s. How was the Torquay Footy Tour? I heard that the Dog was sent back to the hotel early on Sunday night and throw up in the taxi! |

I have heard that a few people will be in Bristol. Not sure where though. I don't finish work until 5:30 so i may either stay in Bristol, or go home and catch the second half.
Torquay was good, but messy as you would probably guess. |

I'll be in Bristol from 4.15, see where we can get in. Hopefully England will be able to maintain their performance into the 2nd half this time

Theres been some concerns that Walkabout will be packed by the time we get there. Ive also heard Hogshead and Slug & Lettuce mentioned as alternatives. MacKenzies on waterfront has been recommended too, bit of an original suggestion (which should work in our favour cos it wont be so busy if no-one else thinks of it), has big screen and smaller tv's dotted around, good drinks deals on weeknights, quite airy etc.
Any other suggestions? Cant think of many to be honest...
What do ya reckon?

I think the Hogshead is a good shout.
Latest News... In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous drivers, it is now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average intelligence to display a warning flag, comprising of a red cross on a white background, attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle. For drivers of exceptionally low intelligence, additional flags are required.

Think the fear of watching England sober combined with the urge for Thatchers are now dragging me in the direction of the Glasshouse.

I wish you lot could make up your minds, thats why we were out last night.
So far it was me and Ships in Bristol, and i thought Big E, Vickers and Stu were in Bristol too, but i suppose that might change.
We should have a definitive list of whos doing what. I'm still up for Bristol, but if everyone is in Nailsea, then i've got some fookin running to do when i get out of work! |

I thought everyone was goin out in town cos most couldn't make it back to Nailsea in time, looks like this has changed tho...
Nailsea or Bristol, i dont mind and can do either, but would be good if we could get something sorted so we all know what we're doing and can plan when to leave work and how to get to whatever venue in time!

Apologies for the late change of mind, basically the practicalities of watching in Nailsea make it easier for me, and I thought the Glass was surprisingly ok on Sunday, should be quite a few of us there tonight to get some more good Thatchers-induced banter going.
Definitely up for town Monday night though (assuming the game remains relevant), should be a lot easier for everyone to get together somewhere good with the later kick off, anyone else fancy taking the day/afternoon off for a proper session in Walkabout?
Rob I didn't realise we were out last night to sort this - I just went up for a quiet pint and to watch the footie!!

Well i was told by Smithy that we would sort it out last night.
I can get back to Nailsea, but i would have to run my bollox off to get there just before the game. I just need to find out what a couple of others are doing before i decide. |
