I know its a bit early but where is everyone planning on watching Mondays's game?
The celebratory curry was just the job last night.

Definitely town this time! Promise! Got the day off so will probably head to walkabout lunchtime and reserve as many seats as possible. The shield will make a triumphant return to lead us to victory (or jsut a draw).

In a complete change of tune to what i was saying last sunday afternoon, the last 2 games have convinced me that Nailsea takes some beating - and not just cos of the cheap jugs of Thatchers, but the singing, curry and Oak jukebox have provided quality entertainment this week!
But i'll reluntantly watch it in town i suppose if everyone else does! Can be over Walkabout (or wherever) at 5:30 straight from work. Cannot wait. This summer is gonna be so good it scares me.

Bristol might be difficult for me, as i have the car, and i would need to take it home and then get the bus back in.
Nailsea again, might be a decent shout, and maybe a curry after, only if people bring enough money, and promise not to snog at the table. |

Nailsea has been surprisingly good, although it is worth remembering there wasn't much atmosphere last night until the second goal. Celebratory curries are now a must on every possible occasion - I say fair play for getting a snog after a curry, brave girl! Woke up this morning genuinely believing it was a saturday, then it dawned on me that last night's madness had all actually occurred on a work night! My thinking with town is it would be good to watch at least one game there, remember the atmosphere of England v Argentina! And as quite a few of us would be at Glastonbury for the quarters, the next chance would not be until the semis, which we obviously are not guaranteed to get to (especially if Owen starts again). As its a 7.45 kick off I wouldn't think it would be difficult for most to get there for then. But if the general vote is in favour of Nailsea I'm happy with more Thatchers and Chicken Najaf or whatever it was called, at least I've got Tuesday off! Saw a lot of gazebos last night, but none came close to ours!

Much as I want to believe Nailsea wil be good, I would much prefer to be in town. I'm sure we can find a curry house if thats the issue and probably one a damn site better than that poo hole in Nailsea.

| Must admit i would prefer town as well. I can be straight out from work so could meet up in Walkabout early doors if that is where we choose to watch it. Spoke to the Dog & Shippers last night and they seemed up for town. Nailsea would be a bit of a problem for me but it could be done. For a curry house i'd suggest the one on King street just down from the Old Vic. Quality!!! |

Have to say Posh Spice is currently doing quite well on the Ring of Fire ratings (the only real test of a curryhouse), but I fear it could all change this afternoon!
Bit premature but if we get to the quarters are we going to continue the celebratory curries at Glastonbury? The consequences could be horrendous! But you only live once....

parp parp parp
did we decide on a venue for tonight in the end? if its somewhere in town as looks likely i'll be over at 5:30.
The curry house in King Street that you speak of T-Man is RAJ, and i agree its quality.
bring on tonight's firey fart-fest of glory

A few of us will be getting the bus in at 3, so should be in Walkabout from about 3.30.

"They had us slightly worried for a couple of minutes at the beginning but they knew what they had to do and really picked up their game" -E.Vale, 2004. She also said "Rooney found it even easier to score against Croatia than the blokes in here find it to score with me on a Saturday night"
What was the atmosphere like down the dentist Tone?
