Who has got the most cider at home to drink over Christmas, and what have you got? Doesn't include presents you are anticipating getting / or giving to someone else then drinking yourself.
- 4 litres Wilkins - 2.5 litres Janets Jungle Juice - 2 litres Hecks Kingston Black - 5 litres Hecks Medium - 2.5 litres Hecks Perry - 5 litres Thathers - 2.5 Litres Westons (various) - 2 litres weird Cornish stuff
Does that add up to 25.5 litres? That doesnt sound much, better get some more in on the way home.

I now have left:
- 4 litres Wilkins - which will be drunk tonight! - 0 litres Janets Jungle Juice - it was lovely - 0 litres Hecks Kingston Black - slightly dissappointed really, and hard to put my finger on why, just not as good as i thought. - 5 litres Hecks Medium - Some of this may go tonight too. - 0.5 litres Hecks Perry - i started on this yesterdy and love it, very easy to drink Perry. - 2 litres Thatchers - the rest of the family have been at this, haven't had any myself yet. - 3 Litres Westons - the supply has increased overall due to Christmas presents. Some Westons Scrumpy has dissappeared too. - 2 litres weird Cornish stuff - i forgot about this. - 1.5 litres Thatchers Single Variety + plus a Commemorative 100 Years glass! - Thank you Father Christmas.
18 litres left to devour over the remaining holidays, starting tonight! Happy New Year's Eve to all cider drinkers.

I've got nothing left. We got to the Lake District on the 23rd, whereupon all the food and drink (except for the turkey) that had been got in for the Christmas period, disappeared in a little over twelve hours - cider, beer, wine, spirits, the lot. As a consequence, we had to go shopping and buy a whole load more in. We went to a Booth's supermarket in Kirkby Lonsdale. Very good, they try and source local produce. Their cider section was the best I've seen yet, not only did it have the usual Thatcher's/Weston's/Sheppey's, it also had several obscure ciders from the Midlands. It snowed on Christmas morning, we had hot mulled cider to chase out the cold (and our hangovers).
And you will know us by the trail of empties.... |

We only had 40 litres of Broome Farm cider, and a case of Orchard's perry, so I feel a bit lacking in variety |

I think we can all be proud of our cider-efforts over Christmas. I have sampled so many ciders that for the first time ever I feel cidered-out and really don't want another pint! Wonder how long that will last?
The nearest Booths to us seems to be Knutsford, near Manchester (http://www.booths-supermarkets.co.uk/imap.html). Thats bad news, sounds like a cheese/cider heaven.
