*(this title follows on the trend of recent posts on here that begin with the words "Treehouse Burning in...", and sound like a series of Enid Blyton books)

Is anyone going to the acoustic gig on Thursday? I don't exactly know where this is, but it sounds quite nearby. Probably go straight after work if anyone would like a 5:15pm beer.

Gents,

It's on the Waterfront right outside Bar Med.

I'll sound checking from 6pm but will be up for a pre-gig pint at about 6.30. Maybe at the Old Duke??

Tickets are £3 with a flyer on the door

PS Acoustic adventure. I like it!

Excellent, can you give me a shout if you go to Duke and I'll call in.

Just been looking at the venue's website and notice they sell "local bottled organic cider" - YES!

Looks like a very slick place

If you go for a pint Gentz let me know. I have to be at the Waterfront pub by 7pm for a booze cruise, but i could have a sly one on the way.

Thanks to those who turned out last night!

Big thanks to Gents who sat in a pub on his own waiting for us to arrive at the Venue. We had a great time. Huge turnout - lots of new faces!

Can't wait to plug in again though!!

It was a good night, but bloody hell £3.50 for a bottle of cider, which wasn't locally produced (Westons is from Herefordshire) and was served in some gay vessel that resembled a elongated shot glass. And £3.70 for a f**king bottle of ale that was less than a pint! These prices must break several Human Rights laws, they know they can charge what they want because we are there to see a mates band and aren't gonna go anywhere, but its not right. Obviously they are trying to fleece us for all the cash we have so they can invest in a venue better than that manky barge, which would be useless as a submarine because several windows were smashed.

Anyway, good gig.

Yeah, pretty pricey! It's usually a members only place I think. But if you have to pay to be a member, you won't be able to afford a bevvie!
