Afraid so, im completely hanging. When you go on an all-dayer on a monday afternoon (that involves drinking Old Rosie), watch a band, drink 4-pint pitchers in a club til 2am, get a huge kebab, wake up in Oxford the next morning (in this prestigious building http://www.all-souls.ox.ac.uk/images/piccies/07210001.jpg) and then still come back to Bristol and do a days work - then you can call me gay!

Fair point about Supergrass tho, it does look slightly sold out.

The Bravery are s**te, id opt for Bombing Run or the NME Tour - whose playing at that?

I didn't call you gay and never will! Good effort.

NME bill is:
The Rakes
The Vega Method
White Rosie Movement

Nine Black Alps were scheduled but their singer has the mumps

OK, i thought you were suggesting slightly that i was genderly challenged but i may have mis-interpretted the message.

Did you go to any of those gigs in the end?

Me and Boxhall went to see Bombing Run at the Louie, who were really great. Raw and rockin! Band on after them were called Snake!? Although they we very very good musicians, their sound was shoddy (weird effects on guitars), their singer sang and looked like Will Young(!) and their songs were dull. Think of Chilli Peppers / Maroon 5 x Creed + Will Young.

Think there was a bit of Limp Bizkit mixed in there with their shocking 'nu-metal' sounding guitars!!

...im thinking, and its melting down my brain, its impossible to imagine what that must have sounded like but it doesn't sound too good.

Here's another gig that might be of interest, tomorrow night as part of Ramshackle at the Academy, The Cribs are doing a Live set - so for less than a fiver you get some live music from a good band, indie disco til 2am, and Carling is £1.50 a pint. Can't be bad. Anyone up for it? Will be a good way to kick bank holiday off in style.

Mr Scruff on the Sat might be worth a look too, but I am away for the weekend unfortunately.
