Not there last night so can't comment too much but City seem to make a habit of matching their performance to the opposition, if they put the sort of performances in against the likes of Rovers & Cheltenham that they managed against Boro & Cov then it would be a different story, but they never seem capable of doing that.

Atmosphere is normally poor unless its a good game, not helped by giving the away fans the best end for making noise and the embarrassing tosser on the microphone. At least there were no goals last night so we were spared the shame of "Is this the way to Amarillo" drowning out the cheers.

Bring on Tuesday, and Phillips letting the winning penalty through his legs!

In response to Jammer & that Scrawny Ass-wipe from Gusset, I wasn't there last night, don't know where you got that from. However, I did hear Rag-Ass players & supporters were celebrating as if they'd won the World Cup, the Ryder Cup, & the Femi-Clean Panty Pad Womens F.A Cup! As if getting a draw makes Rag-Ass favourites! Just as Bristol Rugby Club do the business when they play at our ground, we'll do the same when we play at THEIR ground! Anyone want to put their money where their mouth is? Not you Filleter, your mouth & your ass are inextricably linked! Nor you Coxy, you never pay your gambling debts!

I didn't get chance to get a ticket, i'm hardly ever in Bristol & Coxy only ever thinks of himself! You might have seen him if he was standing on a box! Otherwise you wouldn't have!

Just thought i would put on a couple of quotes that were put in the match report from the gas website:

'Rovers were this evening crowned the champions of bristol, after beating city 1-0 at the Memorial Stadium to book a place in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.'

'City tried their best, but on their day, home and away, they just weren't good enough to beat Bristol Rovers.'

Brilliant.

To be fair, Rovers are awful, I think City just found it too hard to read which direction the ball would fly off their shins next. It wasn't like the classic derbies of late 80s/early 90s, it was like an FA cup tie where the plucky non-league team tries to upset the quality side and nicks a scrappy set piece goal. The ref clearly fancied a home win too, and as for giving that t**t Phillips MOM for dropping everything that came his way, just embarrassing.Funny you lads should mention goodnight irene, think I heard at least 3 different versions of that dire rubbish on what passes for the tannoy before the game, all as bad as each other, and I thought the pre-match music at city was bad! Didn't seem a lot wrong with the pitch either, I'll stick my video online later of the gas chavs running on it before City chased them off at the end. Hopefully a nice big fine coming Rovers way for all that, coupled with the one for calling the Stockport game that should put them in administration with any luck. And at least the JPT final will get the crowd it deserves this year.
EIEIEIO up the football league we go...

HAHA sour grapes??

Well as bad as we are meant to be, you must admit you would have loved a jolly over in cardiff!!

You give all this rubbish playing well against decent teams and that, middlesborough were rubbish against you, coventry were a team on an absolutely awful run and in all fairness how many of those 4 games you actually win outright?! 1!!

As shipway said last night, 'you played to your strengths, on that cow field' you ahd a decent pitch at your place boys and didnt produce!

As for some of our fans running at you or whatever they did, i cant defend that. Bunch of clowns, should be banned for life.

Too be honest Jammer I could do without a Trip to Cardiff. Think about it:

You've spent hours on the phone trying to get through to ticketmaster, You've paid thirty odd quid for the ticket, spent 2 and a half hours to get the 40 miles to cardiff, spent loads of money on overpriced beer, watched the game in a half empty stadium (cos rovers can't even fill the Mem unless city are there), and then got beat. After that your stuck in a traffic jam, trying to get out of that dump Cardiff!

Oh, and you'll still be in League Two next season! Enjoy the trip!!!
