Be a little gracious in defeat in boys..........It was over 2 legs, therefore, you can’t use the giant killing line or we are concentrating on the real prize of promotion bullsh*t…..you were tactically out-classed and every supporter demands pride and passion in derby games and your boys had nothing to offer…………………end of....

Playoffs still scheduled for Wembley at the moment I think.
Two legs just meant Rovers were allowed to use spoiling tactics for two games instead of one. I take more pride in seeing my team trying to attack the opposition and create chances, however badly they did it, rather than sit back and admit the opposition are better and see what they can steal from the game. It might work in a cup tie, but it doesn't over the course of the season, the league tables are proof of that. |

What a nonsense argument…………It was a cup game and not a league, therefore the league irrelevant………..at any standard of football you have to beat what is put in front of you……City didn’t and Rovers did……………..
Wembley……….you have just increased both the travel cost and the likelihood of getting shot………..you arguments are just not standing up…………..
“EIEIEIO up the football league we go...” I would have thought these forums have seen a few too many early predictions from Sh*theads over the last couple of weeks…………I remember Bracer offering money on a City win, you predicating Phillips would let the winning penalty through his legs and Cocker claiming the Res would be Portishead…………..None of which have come true…….maybe you are tempting fate once again……………………………………..

You cant just choose whatever club is winning at the moment!
