I can remember when Bristol City were beating the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd. in the league!!! And yes, it was the top division of the day!

aye aye! This looks very fun!!

All for a bit of Arsenal/Liverpool bashing!!

As I was reading you Nailsea lot argue amongst yourselves defending your respective teams, I wondered what actual link you had to the them?

Just wondering if its all southern plastic fans bickering over what they see on MOTD or something...

According to the last debate on here Jammer you're a league 2 fan?? (the stone under league 1). No wonder they get 40k for the big day out and only 4k in the league if their "supporters" disown them that quickly!

I knew Jammer might get a bite for his comment.

Anyway, going back to the original post, Are Spurs fans a bunch of trouble making thugs or not?

Most Liverpool fans only support them as they were good when they were growing up! But u also have to say fair play to them for sticking by them as they have been s**t for the last 17 years!

I take it Mr Sharples is actually from wolverhampton then?

As for spurs fans Rob, I think every club has a small amount of fans that are mindless thugs. It just so happens Liverpool seem to have a lot more as I imagine it takes more than 1 of them to knock down a wall!

Yes Im from Wolvo originally.

Bracer, I am not going to use this thread to go through how fcuking hopeless you have been (again) this season or how you have lost all your derbies (Rovers, Clevedon, us etc).

This is purely professional football talk, that goes as low as The Championship but no lower.

Another question, how can people support two teams?!!

Yet more proof of what a shocking football club liverpool are.

A study of all premier league clubs accounts showed that Liverpool gave NOTHING to charity last season.

Top of the list was SPURS with an impressive £4.5 million, Boro were Second with £105,645 and EVERTON were third with £82,984.

All Liverpool fans should be ashamed!!

Did you get those figures from the Everton website? Two joint third places with two completely different figures!!!!

"Boro were third with £105,645 and EVERTON were third with £82,984."

Please can you tell us your source?

If it is true, and i doubt it is, because Liverpool support the Marina Dalglish appeal, and it was last year when they let the staduim be used for a charity game free of charge. I suppose it depends on how charitable donations are measured.

Anyway, we've put things right this year by giving 4 points to Charity.

Right, i've found the source of this, and read the following:

Those behind the survey admit it represents purely financial donations made by clubs to charities and takes no account of community involvement schemes, gifts in kind, fundraising projects and cash given from associated charitable trusts.

So what the survey actually represents, is football clubs which record their charitable donations in order to recoup back some tax.
